Lafene Health Center is K-State students' cost-effective, health and well-being facility. Students visiting Lafene can rest assured knowing their care is provided by a staff of highly credentialed healthcare professionals. Lafene Health Center is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

  • Students must show their current K-State student ID card to receive services. For an appointment or information, call 785-532-6544. Please use the East Main Entrance for all clinics.
  • Call ahead for an appointment to decrease wait time OR visit myLAFENE+ portal to make an appointment online.
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to complete the check-in process.
  • ALWAYS visit the check-in area first.
  • Allow 24-48 hours for prescription refills.
  • Late for an appointment? It may have to be rescheduled.
  • Missed an appointment? You may be charged a failed appointment fee.
  • If immediate care is needed when the student health center is closed, contact the local hospital emergency department: Ascension Via Christi Hospital, 1823 College Ave. (west of K-State football stadium), 785-776-3322. (Hospital charges will apply.)

We are conveniently located at 1105 Sunset Avenue, across from Marlatt Hall and Kramer Dining Center. To schedule an appointment, go to the myLAFENE+ portal or call us at 785-532-6544.

To pay your bill online, click on the myLAFENE+ portal, access ACCOUNT SUMMARY, then click Pay Balance. Be sure to click SIGN OUT at the top right corner after you have entered all of your payment information and clicked SUBMIT or your payment will not process.

 

Lafene Health Center is not a contracting provider with Medicaid (KanCare) or Medicare.
