K-State has played in 19 bowl games and has averaged nearly 30,000 fans at each of its bowl games played in the Continental U.S.
The Wildcats had an estimated 40,000 fans travel to Dallas for the 1997 Cotton Bowl, while the largest crowd ever to cross state lines to watch a college football game (45,000) went with the Wildcats to Tempe, Ariz., for the Wildcats’ 1997 Fiesta Bowl victory over Syracuse. Wildcat fans were again out in force at the 2012-13 Fiesta Bowl as an estimated crowd of just under 40,000 K-State faithful traveled to Arizona.

K-State's bowl history is virtually unmatched in the ranks of college football. The Wildcats have earned a postseason bowl berth in 14 of the last 19 seasons, and were one of just nine programs nationally to reach a bowl game in 12 of 14 season (1993-2006).
