Bramlage Coliseum

Parking is available in both east and west sports complex lots.

Due to the number of ceremonies at Bramlage Coliseum and to relieve traffic congestion between ceremonies, it is recommended that graduates and guests attending commencement for the Graduate School, Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration and Health and Human Sciences park in the west coliseum lot; graduates and guests attending ceremonies for Veterinary Medicine, Colleges of Education, Agriculture and Engineering should park in the east coliseum lot.

Spring 2024 Road Construction Update

Guests for the Kansas State Commencement ceremonies should be aware of construction Kimball Avenue will be closed between Grain Science Way/Tex Winter Drive to the intersection of Denison Avenue as construction of Phase XI of the North Campus Corridor project gets underway. The construction will alter how guests enter and exit the parking lots at Bramlage Coliseum, notably if you are arriving from the east side of Manhattan. Entry into the East Lot via Gate 8 will be open as normal from Kimball but only accessible for eastbound traffic. Those arriving from the east side of the city on Tuttle Creek Boulevard should exit at Marlatt Avenue then turn south at College Avenue to reach Kimball. Guests can also detour around the construction by connecting to Claflin Road south of Bramlage Coliseum and rejoining Kimball via College. Those arriving from the west on Seth Child Road can reach the lots via Kimball or Claflin. Please utilize the commencement entry map or the below Wayze links for turn-by-turn directions. It is recommended that graduates and guests attending commencement for the Graduate School, Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration and Health and Human Sciences park in the West Coliseum Lot; graduates and guests attending ceremonies for Veterinary Medicine, Colleges of Education, Agriculture and Engineering should park in the East Coliseum Lot. Guests are encouraged to plan ahead and allow for additional travel time, as well as utilize a GPS system for seeking alternative routing.

Accessible parking

Accessible parking is available in the east and west stadium parking lots. Use of accessible parking spaces is restricted to vehicles with the proper permit.

Drop-off is available curb side. While the entry ramps to Bramlage are ADA compliant, a limited number of wheelchairs will be available for those requesting assistance up the ramps. Please note, winter weather may prevent the offering of wheelchairs usage.

Campus parking

Public parking will be permitted in all general, student, faculty, and staff parking lots on campus during commencement weekend. However, parking in any reserved space is still restricted to permit holders. Unauthorized vehicles parked in any reserved spaces may be towed.
