Fall scholarships help Kansas State University Global Campus students

MANHATTAN — Thirty-six students were awarded scholarships for the fall 2016 semester by Kansas State University Global Campus. The scholarships totaled $69,600 and went to degree-seeking distance students across the U.S.
Scholarships awarded include the Maureen Allison O'Bannon Memorial Scholarship, the Allan D. Sicat Scholarship, the K-State Global Campus Scholarship for Distance Education Students, as well as scholarships provided in collaboration with Kansas State University colleges and departments.
The following students received fall 2016 scholarships from K-State Global Campus:
Darin Engel, senior in technology management, Augusta, Maureen Allison O'Bannon Memorial Scholarship; Christopher Petty, master's student in adult and continuing education, Fort Scott, Maureen Allison O'Bannon Memorial Scholarship; Crystal Miller, junior in human ecology, Allan D. Sicat Scholarship, and Nicole Hamler, senior in general business, College of Business Administration Scholarship for Distance Students, both from Junction City.
