MANHATTAN -- A new certificate being offered by Kansas State University's National Strategic Selling Institute can provide students planning sales-related careers with a competitive advantage.
The institute's certificate in professional strategic selling lets students gain exposure to the fundamentals of sales through an advanced curriculum and experience in the institute's sales labs, said Dawn Deeter, director of the National Strategic Selling Institute and the J.J Vanier distinguished chair in business administration for relational selling and marketing in Kansas State University's College of Business Administration.

It prepares them for a future career in the sales industry and provides a distinguishing credential that will set them apart when it comes to job interviews."
The National Strategic Selling Institute is designed to help students advanced their relationship selling profession and leadership in an interdisciplinary academic education, influential research and value outreach activity. Kansas State University's sales program has been named one of the best for professional sales education by the Sales Education Foundation in 2012 and 2013.
