Sales seminar at K-State Olathe shows how to heat up sales

OLATHE -- A sales seminar for working professionals in the Kansas City area, sponsored by Kansas State University's College of Business Administration, will be 6-8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at Kansas State University Olathe, 22201 W. Innovation Drive, Olathe.
"Cold Calling: From Interruption to Conversation," with Tibor Shanto, will offer participants an understanding on how to turn cold calls into real business prospects. It will focus on time allocation, developing client objectives, understanding the language of sales and being able to execute a proactive prospecting sales call. The seminar will demonstrate a step-by-step proven methodology for efficiency and effectively turning cold calls into prospects.
Shanto, a principal with Renbor Sales Solutions, has been a sales leader for more than 25 years. A noted sales tactician, he has developed a formula for successful sales executions.
The seminar is organized by the National Strategic Institute at Kansas State University's College of Business Administration and is sponsored by Simmons First National Bank.
The cost per participant is $69.99 when registering before Jan. 24, or $79.99 after that date. A dinner buffet will be served during the seminar, with the cost of dinner included. Seminar participants should check in at 5:30 p.m.

"Cold Calling: From Interruption to Conversation" is part of the College of Business Administration's Professional Education seminars, which are designed to enhance the leadership and business knowledge of professionals on applied business concepts.
