McCain Performance Series first in Kansas to feature Jessica Lang Dance

MANHATTAN — Jessica Lang Dance makes its Kansas debut at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Kansas State University's McCain Auditorium as part of the McCain Performance Series.
The show is included in the university's spring semester activities, "Shakespeare in the Little Apple," marking the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death. The program will include a sneak preview excerpt of Lang's newest work set to Shakespeare sonnets.
Founded in 2011, Jessica Lang Dance is a New York City-based dance company dedicated to creating and performing the work of Jessica Lang. The company immerses its global audiences in the beauty of movement and music. Lang, the recipient of a 2014 Bessie Award, incorporates striking design elements and transforms classical ballet language into artfully crafted, emotionally engaging contemporary works.
