Sixteen Kansas State University graduating seniors receive outstanding award

MANHATTAN — Kansas State University Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students Pat Bosco has selected 16 Kansas State University students for the Dean of Student Life Outstanding Graduating Senior Award.
The awards, first given in 1999 and sponsored by the K-State Parents and Family Association, recognize seniors for their significant contributions to the university. Division of Student Life staff nominated students and Bosco made final selections. Awardees can be recent graduates or seniors who are expected to graduate next semester.
"Kansas State University has so many outstanding students, so choosing students for this award is always a difficult choice," Bosco said. "The 16 students selected this year are well-deserving and have contributed greatly to improve the university experience."
The following students are recipients of the honor:
Cody Clair, May 2016 bachelor's graduate in management information systems, Ellinwood.
From Greater Kansas City: Ellen Harley, May 2016 bachelor's graduate in family studies and human services, and Muenfua Lewis, senior in finance, both from Olathe; Casey Keller, senior in information systems, Rebecca Jenkins, May 2016 bachelor's graduate in economics, Joe Tinker, May 2016 bachelor's graduate in psychology, and Megan Varhola, May 2016 bachelor's graduate in accounting, all from Overland Park.
Denise Torres, senior in mass communications and public relations, Hugoton; Abby Works, May 2016 bachelor's graduate in food science and industry, Iola; Nathan Laudan, May 2016 bachelor's graduate in agricultural communications and journalism, Paola; Garrett Kays, May 2016 bachelor's degree graduate in agricultural economics, Weir, Rebecca Brady, May 2016 bachelor's graduate in elementary education, Wichita.
