Award-winning musician Branford Marsalis brings acclaimed quartet to McCain

MANHATTAN — Spend "An Evening With Branford Marsalis," the three-time Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and his acclaimed quartet, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, in Kansas State University's McCain Auditorium as part of the McCain Performance Series.
Marsalis, who has toured with Sting, collaborated with the Grateful Dead and Bruce Hornsby, and spent three years as leader of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" band, was recently named a jazz master by the National Endowment for the Arts, the highest honor for jazz artists in the U.S. Joining Marsalis in his quartet are Joey Calderazzo, piano; Eric Revis, bass; and Justin Faulkner, drums.
