Benhur Lee
Benhur Lee, professor of microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will present "Emerging Paramyxoviruses: Targeting the Knowns and Unknowns" at 3 p.m. today, April 26, in Mara Conference Center and via Zoom.
Jeff Stevenson to present Kiracofe Lecture: 'Perils and Performance of Peer Review'
Jeff Stevenson, professor emeritus, will be the presenter at the 2024 Kiracofe Lecture and Physiology/Animal Breeding Seminar at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in Room 205 of Call Hall. The presentation title is "Perils and Performance of Peer Review."
Join today: Yerba mate talk and tasting
The modern languages department will host an event at 10 a.m. with a Mateada, a special tea ceremony, in Spanish. This will be followed by a talk in Spanish about the Yerba Mate drink at 10:30 a.m. with a Q&A in English and Spanish after the talk.

Four Master of Business Administration students recently traveled to the University of Kansas for the Big 12 Case Competition. The 24-hour graduate-level competition rotates between different schools in the Big 12.

The Mike Wiegers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering hosted its 11th annual awards banquet on April 24, celebrating the accomplishments of students, faculty and staff.
