Kansas State University vice president for research candidate finalists open forums
The search committee has selected four finalists for the vice president for research position. Each candidate will present an open forum about "Vision 2025: The path to becoming a Top 50 Public Research University."
Peter Dorhout, interim vice president for research and professor of chemistry at Kansas State University, will interview March 1-3. The open forum will be from 3-4 p.m. March 2 in the K-State Student Union Little Theatre.
Dave Schultz, associate vice president for research and economic development and chair of the physics department at the University of North Texas, will interview March 2-4. The open forum will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. March 3 in the auditorium of the International Grains Program, IGP, Institute.
Jerry Malayer, associate dean for research and graduate education for the Center for Veterinary Health Sciences at Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma EPSCoR state executive director, will interview March 7-9. The open forum will be from 2:55-3:50 p.m. March 8 in the K-State Student Union Konza Room.
Craig Nessler, director of AgriLife Research and professor of horticulture at Texas A&M University, will interview March 20-22. The open forum will be from 2:30-3:30 p.m. March 21 in the K-State Student Union Little Theatre.

K-Staters are encouraged to attend the open forums presented by each of the finalists. The open forums also will be streamed live and available on the search website as will a link to an online candidate feedback form.
