Submitted by Jeffrey Smith

Eric Sheppard, Humboldt professor at the University of California, Los Angeles and past president of the Association of American Geographers, will deliver the public presentation "Thinking Geographically: Globalizing Capitalism, and Beyond" at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in the Little Theater of the K-State Student Union.

As one of the nation's most recognized economic geographers, Sheppard's talk will explain how geography and spatial analysis plays a central role in understanding the globalization of capitalism.
