Join K-State Student EcoReps; first meeting is Feb. 27

Submitted by Maggie Stephens

Join K-State Student EcoReps and make a difference in your major or academic program. By becoming an EcoRep, you will get training and support from the K-State office of sustainability in how to work with your academic program or department to increase energy conservation, recycling options and practices, and green purchasing decisions.

You can be an EcoRep for your academic program or a department you work for on campus. Join a student network of program and department representatives to build your resume, form partnerships with faculty and staff, enhance your academic experience and make a difference for K-State.

The first K-State Student EcoReps meeting is at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in the human resources training room of Edwards Hall. All students are invited to participate in K-State Student EcoReps. You can represent either your academic program or a department you work or volunteer for on campus.

Visit sustainability.k-state.edu or email sustainability@k-state.edu for more information about registration. If you're interested, please send the completed registration to sustainability@k-state.edu.
