Submitted by Kristina Snyder

SIES 2013

Interested in global leadership, the environment and making new friends from abroad? Engineering extension is looking for outgoing undergraduate student leaders to participate in a paid position for the Summer Institute on Environmental Stewardship in June and July. There's still time, but the application deadline is today, April 28.

Engineering extension is hiring student mentors for the 2014 Summer Institute on Environmental Stewardship. Students must enroll in corresponding LEAD 502 for 0-3 credit hours. Regardless of credit hours, all student mentors will be required to become K-State van driver certified; take required van training May 29 or June 20; attend a weekly class in June; and work 40 paid hours a week, including some night, weekend and holiday hours July 3 through Aug. 2.

For more information about the Summer Institute on Environmental Stewardship and the position of student mentor, review the position description on the website or contact Kristina Snyder at kesnyder@k-state.edu or 785-532-3961, or David Carter at dcarter@k-state.edu or 785-532-4998.
