Fire extinguisher training offered July 22

Submitted by Learning and Development

The environmental health and safety department suggests annual Fire Extinguisher Training, WTD159 for all university employees. A session will be offered from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, in 011 Edwards Hall.

Prior to attending this training session, you must complete a fire extinguisher online training course. Upon completion of the online course, you will receive a certificate. Please sign and date the printed certificate and bring it with you to the classroom training session on July 22.

There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Maximum attendance for each session is 15. The hands-on training with the extinguisher is outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

To register for this session, you can either sign up through HRIS self-service or send an email to learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, employee ID, and the course title.
