AMPED will be conducted Sept. 12-Oct. 21 at the Recreation Complex.

This program will amplify your current level of fitness and provide you with a nutrition plan designed to suit your needs. Recreational services' Wildcat personal trainers and fitness coaches will lead each session. Whether you want to increase strength, cardiovascular fitness or lose weight, this program will offer a new way to do so.

Sessions will be conducted outside using equipment like tires, ropes, sledgehammers, sandbags and cinder blocks.

This six-week boot camp program will provide two workouts each week -- for a total of 12 sessions -- plus nutrition analysis, goal setting and an Amped T-shirt.

Choose morning or afternoon workouts: Monday and Wednesday at 6 a.m. or Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

The cost: $75 for K-State students; $100 for rec members.

Amped sessions are limited to 20 participants and they must be K-State students or rec facility members. Waivers must be signed prior to the first workout.

Note: AMPED workouts are for individuals who are currently maintaining a regular exercise routine.
