Philosophy professor to present at two European universities
On Sept. 12, Jim Hamilton will present to the philosophy faculty at the University of Murcia using his 2007 book, “The Art of Theater,” to discuss the nature of appreciation of the theatrical performance.
On Sept. 15, Hamilton will present a narrative performance at a special conference celebrating the work of professor Peter Goldie at the University of Manchester. Hamilton will explain what markers justify a spectator in thinking a performance is narratable.
