Faculty member presents at national conference

Bronwyn Fees, associate professor in the College of Human Ecology, was among those presenting at the recent the National Association for the Education of Young Children conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

She and faculty from Kent State University, South Dakota State University and University of Nebraska, Lincoln talked about documenting children's learning, a rubric to support student's development in observing and interpreting children's learning and behavior. Four undergraduate students and three graduate students in early childhood education along with five faculty from the Ruth Hoeflin Early Childhood Education Center, or Stone House, attended conference.

Undergraduate students are in the professional teacher education program in early childhood education studying child development and pedagogy at Stone House, the teaching/research facility on campus.
