Women's boot camp: LIFE program fitness class

Submitted by LIFE Program

Less time in the gym with better results.

Are you interested in getting in better shape or improving your fitness but do not want to spend hours in the gym? Are you a little intimidated by fitness programs, but would like one designed specifically for women of all ages?  If so, then the Women's Class is for you!

This class meets four days a week — Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday — for one hour from 1-2 p.m. for a cost of $120 per month in 4 Natatorium.

We use safe, effective and functional everyday movements performed at a relative higher intensity. You will be challenged daily but the format is non-competitive and focused on results. Best of all, you will enjoy doing it.

Do I need to be in shape before I start?
No prior fitness experience is required. All workouts will be individually scaled to your fitness level by a CrossFit certified instructor. All workouts will be conducted in small groups, minimum of three and maximum of eight, and are constantly varied in format and exercises involved. Each training day will include a strength focus followed with a short workout.

To sign up, please email life@k-state.edu or call the LIFE program at 785-532-6765.
