Emergency fire equipment to be tested in several buildings in June
Between June 3-11, SimplexGrinnell will test the emergency fire equipment in:
- Call Hall
- Cardwell Hall
- Durland Hall
- Rathbone Hall
- Greenhouses
- Holton Hall
- Holtz Hall
- Throckmorton Hall
- Dairy Barn
- Weber Hall
Next, SimplexGrinnell will test at the College of Veterinary Medicine. To reduce the number of building occupants interrupted by the sound of alarms, the fire alarm systems will be tested every evening between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Police dispatch, facilities and the Manhattan Fire Department will be notified for each building at the start of the test. Please refer your comments and questions to safety@k-state.edu or call 785-532-5856.
