Emergency fire equipment tests
Between Sunday, June 23, through Friday, June 28, SimplexGrinnell will test the fire alarms in the following locations:
- Advanced Manufacturing Institute
- Natatorium
- Military Science Hall
- East Stadium
- Edwards Hall
- BiVAP
- English/Counseling Services Building
- Nichols Hall
Between Monday, June 24, through Thursday, June 27, SimplexGrinnell will finish up the annual fire suppression system — sprinkler — inspections by sounding the alarms in:
- Anderson Hall
- Burt Hall
- King Annex
- Chem/Biochem Building
- College of Veterinary Medicine — Coles Hall, Mosier Hall and Trotter Hall
- Durland Hall
- Fiedler Hall
- Foundation Center, including the Tower
- Leadership Studies Building
- Rathbone Hall
- Roberts Hall
- Seaton Hall
- Seaton Court
- Shellenberger Hall
- Throckmorton Hall
- Vanier Football Complex
- Ward Hall
- Weber Hall
To reduce the number of building occupants interrupted by the sound of alarms, the emergency fire systems will be tested every evening between 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Police dispatch, Facilities and the Manhattan Fire Department will be notified for each building at the start of the test. Please refer your comments and questions to safety@k-state.edu or call 785-532-5856.
