Federal Grants

• Federal Pell Grant

  The Federal Pell Grant is for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need.

• Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

  Federal grant for Pell grant recipients with exceptional financial need.

• Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant

  Federal grant for students whose parents or guardians died as a result of U.S. military service in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2001.

• Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant

  Federal merit-based grant for undergraduate and graduate students seeking a degree in the K-State College of Education.

State of Kansas Grant

• Kansas Comprehensive Grant

  State grant for Kansas residents with exceptional financial need.

Kansas State University Grants

• Land-Grant Promise

  Provides full-time, Pell-eligible undergraduate freshman and transfer students with a direct award equivalent to the full-time, in-state tuition not covered by other grants and scholarships.

• Freshman Wildcat Grant

  A need-based grant for Kansas resident freshman students at Kansas State University.

• Completion Grant

  The Completion Grant is intended for students with unmet financial need who, with some additional financial support, could be celebrating their graduation in the coming year.
