The K-State Affirmative Action Program is organized in compliance with several federal and state laws, executive orders and implementing regulations. As a federal contractor, K-State is required to have a written affirmative action compliance program. The program must include identification and analysis of problem areas, the establishment of goals and timetables, and specific result-oriented action items designed to attain goals.

Questions About Equal Opportunity
You can meet with one of our OIE investigators for the purpose of providing you with general information on K-State's Nondiscrimination Policy and process, as well as applicable resources. If you are not sure whether your questions or concerns pertain to an issue under OIE's PPM 3010 Policy, you can request for a meeting with both an OIE staff member and someone from Employee Relations and Engagement who can also provide you with information about their office and applicable resources. If it is determined your concerns pertain to an issue(s) covered under PPM 3010, then only OIE is mandated to evaluate your concerns under the Policy.
