Community facilitators

K-State is providing community facilitation and technical assistance at no cost to communities and organizations that most need these services. The project is bringing together regional stakeholders to address topics — such as water or health care — that affect economic prosperity in Kansas communities.

To help meet community development demands across the state, K-State Research and Extension is expanding its number of community facilitators. Community facilitators include extension professionals who are trained in community leadership development, facilitation, community needs assessment and community strategic planning and implementation.

Community facilitators help to identify needs and partnership opportunites for future work.
