Student Success Courses
The Academic Achievement Center partners with K-State First and Student Success to offer first-semester courses that are designed to cultivate student success for first-year students. The courses emphasize the skills and strategies needed to succeed as a college student.
Student Success CAT Communities
Student Success CAT Communities engage first-year students with a diverse community of goal-oriented peers, facilitate individual academic guidance, and assist students in developing a strong educational foundation. Student Success CAT Communities are an excellent option for any student wanting to navigate the college experience with a group of other students, and we highly recommend these learning communities to first-generation and Open Option students.
Foundations of College Student Success
Foundations of College Student Success helps students develop and practice strategies to support success at K-State. In the class, students will learn academic strategies that will help them be successful in their coursework. The focus on first-year students means that we will use this class to talk about the transition to college-level learning and college life.
