The Association of Third World Studies (ATWS), the largest professional organization of its kind in the world, publishes the Journal of Third World Studies, which expresses diverse viewpoints concerning Third World problems and issues . The main purpose of this organization is to provide an international structure for the humane and scientific study of Third World peoples, problems, and issues, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life.

Contains details of thousands of books, articles, conference papers and reports on various aspects of international education. There is no charge to search the database and access is open to all.

Council on International Educational Exchange
CIEE is the leading U.S. non-governmental international education organization. CIEE creates and administers programs that allow high school and university students and educators to study and teach abroad.
U.S. faculty from partner institutions are invited to apply to teach at DIS during a semester or summer program. DIS will assist in establishing a professional network and connecting visiting faculty with European counterparts.
