Continuing Education Credits

K-State offers distance education courses, degree programs, microcredentials, and continuing education (CE) hours for trainings to business and industry professionals for successful completion noncredit learning opportunities.

The primary purpose of CE hours is to provide a record of noncredit professional activities for professionals needing contact hours to meet licensure or accrediting requirements.

Resources are available to provide guidance and to assist faculty with reviewing and approving programs requesting K-State CE hours and to administer and issue CE hours to individuals who successfully complete program requirements.

Continuing education hours are not awarded for academic credit. Continuing education requirements vary from state to state and by profession. It is the responsibility of individuals earning K-State continuing education hours to verify with their licensing or accrediting body that the hours will be accepted.

Kansas State University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
