Peer Mentoring Collaborative

is designed to highlight the work of peer mentorship on campus and help students connect to peer mentorship opportunities.

A peer mentor at K-State is an undergraduate or graduate student "who has been selected, trained, and designated by a campus authority to offer services to their peers. These services are intentionally designed to assist peers toward attainment of goals” (adapted from Students Helping Students). Ultimately, peer mentors are students helping other students navigate their university experience and focus on personal growth and development in coordinated efforts across the K-State campus. Mentorship is an important aspect of student success and is an opportunity accessible to all students!

Why this matters
As a peer mentor, I have felt nothing but fulfillment in both my personal and professional life. It's a job that will really show who you are, and what you need to flourish: just as long as you are willing to let it shape you.
Being a peer mentor has allowed me to work on building community on campus. It’s a really fulfilling experience, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing students connect and grow together!
