Agriculture involves everything from science to business, communications to education, and biotechnology to food science. As new technologies and job opportunities emerge, agriculture will continue to change, creating opportunities for all interests, talents and goals.
If you are undecided about a major, the general agriculture program creates opportunities to explore specific majors within the College of Agriculture. The college offers 16 undergraduate majors and 16 minors with advisors to help you identify the program that is most compatible with your career goals and interests.
The K-State difference
Agriculture offers opportunities in business, communications, education, research, production and much more. One in five people in the U.S. is employed in an agriculture-related job, but a shortage in the number of university graduates with agriculture expertise continues to exist.
