Bachelor's Degree in General Human Ecology

B.S. in general human ecology

The general human ecology program offers a generalist approach to the human sciences in the areas of human and family development, food, nutrition and health, clothing and textiles.

Students examine and build expertise across the human sciences in preparation for careers that require a breadth of knowledge about human health and well-being.

Students in human ecology learn broad knowledge of human well-being as well as a specialization that focuses on the student's career goals.

The K-State difference

K-State’s College of Health and Human Sciences offers a variety of degree programs within its various departments, including several concurrent bachelor’s/master’s degree programs and dual majors. Additionally, the college offers five minors, providing a basic understanding of a practice outside a student’s major curriculum, including:
