Faculty
Use the Faculty AIM Portal to view scheduled exams and to submit exams.
The SAC Testing Center utilizes AIM to schedule and track exams. The process is as follows:
- Students request accommodations for a course using the Student AIM Portal.
- AIM automatically generates a letter of accommodation email to all faculty members listed for a course.
- If testing accommodations are included, a link to the Alternative Testing Agreement is provided in the email. The Alternative Testing Agreement is a form that tells the SAC Testing Center staff important information about how exams should be proctored.
- Faculty members may decide to accommodate students with testing accommodations in class or a course may have no exams. If this is the case, faculty can designate that choice through the link, and will not need to complete the Alternative Testing Agreement.
- This is an important step, because students will receive a message to contact the instructor with any questions about exams and they will not be able to schedule with the SAC Testing Center.
- If the Alternative Testing Agreement has already been completed for another student in the course, the link will not be included. The Agreement only needs to be completed once per course, no matter the number of students with testing accommodations.
- Faculty members may decide to accommodate students with testing accommodations in class or a course may have no exams. If this is the case, faculty can designate that choice through the link, and will not need to complete the Alternative Testing Agreement.
- Students schedule an exam with the SAC Testing Center through the Student AIM Portal.
- It is important that faculty submit the agreement before a student schedules an exam. If the agreement has not been submitted and a student tries to schedule an exam, a reminder email will be sent to the faculty member to complete the Alternative Testing Agreement.
- SAC testing staff approves the student's request and reviews parameters set in the Alternative Testing Agreement.
- Faculty can view the exams scheduled by each student through the Faculty AIM Portal.
- From the left navigation bar in the Faculty AIM Portal, faculty can view exam information by selecting Alternative Testing.
- Faculty can view the exams scheduled by each student through the Faculty AIM Portal.
- Faculty canupload exams through the AIM Faculty Portal (preferred), email to tst@ksu.edu, or deliver to Holton Hall 002.
