Requesting Accommodation Letters
Registered students should request accommodations for their courses every semester via AIM. Once a year, students are asked to sign an Annual Student Agreement. This agreement outlines responsibilities for requesting and utilizing accommodations.
- Sign in to the Student AIM Portal at this link. Use your K-State eID and password.
- To request letters of accommodation, click "Add Requests."
- Select the course(s) for which you are requesting accommodations.
- Click "CONTINUE TO NEXT STEP."
- Select the accommodations you would like for the course(s) and click "SUBMIT REQUEST."
- Check for completion:
- If you successfully submit the request, you will see a green check mark and “SUCCESS! YOUR ACTION HAS BEEN COMPLETED” near the top of the page.
- If there is an error, an alert will appear in a yellow box near the top of the page saying, “SUBMISSION ERROR.”
This means your request was not submitted. Check for missing or invalid information and submit the request again.
- If you successfully submit the request, you will see a green check mark and “SUCCESS! YOUR ACTION HAS BEEN COMPLETED” near the top of the page.
- You should receive an email for each course for which you requested letters.
Be sure to update your request if any major changes occur, for example, if you add or withdraw from a course.
