Assistive Listening Devices

A student with a hearing impairment who wishes to use an assistive listening device (or FM listening system) in class may check out a device from the office. Be aware that FM listening systems will not work with all types of hearing aids; the aid must have a jack that will accept the FM listening system plug.

Prior to requesting to check out an assistive listening device from the office, the student must be registered with Student Access Center.

Assistive listening devices are also available for use at Bramlage Coliseum, McCain Auditorium, Nichols Theater, and the K-State Union.
