General requirements for ELP English-Only students

Come to Kansas State University to improve your English skills for personal or professional goals!

We welcome English-only applications from community members, professionals, and students in the final year of secondary or high school or at any time after completion of secondary/high school.

To qualify, you must:

• be a non-native speaker of English
• be at least 17 years old

Students are expected to be able to read and write in their own language and know the Roman alphabet. True beginners may be required to follow an alternate course of study.

When applying, you will need to:

• complete the online application form
• pay an $80 application fee
• send a copy of your passport
• provide an Affidavit of Financial Support to show that you have money for tuition and living costs
