Our online application takes about 30 minutes to complete. Below you can see what to choose, if you want to study English for personal or professional reasons at Kansas State University (not for a degree).

Location

ELP classes are only offered at the Manhattan campus.

Type of Degree

ELP-only students do not receive a degree from Kansas State University. The courses are for personal and professional development. You can apply for a degree program later if your plans change.

Academic Plan

Admission priority dates: If you apply for an undergraduate degree program, you are eligible for scholarships. Do you want step-by-step instructions for applying as an undergraduate student instead?

Pay the $80 USD Application Fee

You may pay the fee online with a credit card, over the phone or with a money order or bank draft.

There are several payment options.

Submit Copy of Passport

We require this to ensure the correct spelling of your name and the correct date of birth. Send pdf copies of your application materials to international@k-state.edu.

To get your I-20: Submit Affidavit of Financial Support and Bank Statement

Student visa document regulations require proof that the student/sponsor has the financial capability to pay for one academic year at K-State. Download and fill out the Affidavit of Financial Support and Bank Statement (pdf).

Send pdf copies of your application materials to international@k-state.edu.

Evaluation stage

Our evaluation process takes about two weeks. We will contact you via email if we require any additional information or additional documents.
