Unofficial Transcript Evaluations
What is an unofficial transcript evaluation?
An unofficial transcript evaluation is an informal assessment of a student's academic record to provide an initial understanding of how your completed coursework might transfer and fulfill program requirements.
Should I request a transcript evaluation?
An unofficial transcript evaluation should be requested by prospective transfer students, particularly those from Kansas community colleges or institutions with pre-evaluated courses, who have completed several semesters and are close to transferring. It's most beneficial for students with specific questions about how their credits will apply after exploring transfer equivalency and pathways tools. This evaluation is not recommended for those just beginning their college education, who should instead use the transfer pathways for guidance.
Remember this transcript evaluation is UNOFFICIAL. Any errors will not exempt you from a requirement. An official degree audit is available upon admission to Kansas State University. Program degree requirements are subject to change for program improvements or accreditation requirements.
