Stockton, KS
Political science (pre-law) major, German minor
How he transitioned to K-State:

Moving to a town with tens of thousands of people was tough at first. Attending a new school, larger than I’ve ever been to before and with hardly anyone I even knew was intimidating. I wanted to be involved and meet people, so through the activities I started participating in, I found a great community of people that I now call friends.

Why he chose his major:

I’ve always been interested in history and started really getting into current events and politics after the 2012 election. But I never thought to do something with it until my sophomore year of high school. I had started doing public speaking and I realized I really loved talking about current issues and solutions. Since then, it’s always been a given for me that I’d major in political science.

Favorite K-State tradition:

My favorite tradition might be a little nerdy, but I love the Landon Lecture Series because you get to see and hear from successful people who often have some sort of connection to K-State. From businessmen to author, and even U.S. senators and secretaries of state, you get the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of someone who has had a unique experience in life.
