Kansas State University is proud to be the first U.S. educational institutional partner of the Australian-American Fulbright Commission. An agreement gives two Australian researchers the opportunity to undertake cutting-edge research at Kansas State University every year.
Outstanding Opportunities
- The Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Agriculture and Life Sciences at Kansas State University is awarded to an eminent Australian scholar. This opportunity is for an internationally renowned researcher in the area of agriculture or life sciences. Read more (pdf).
- An Australian Fulbright Senior Scholar may work with faculty in any academic discipline found at Kansas State University. Some of the eligible disciplines are agriculture, architecture, engineering, the arts and humanities, the sciences and veterinary medicine. Read more (pdf).
Forging new connections between Australia and the U.S. is the program's goal. These scholars will build and develop partnerships and friendships through mutual understanding and education and cultural exchanges.
