Graduate Studies
The Division of Biology has modern facilities housed in four buildings: Ackert Hall, Chalmers Hall, Bushnell Hall, and Leasure Hall. These facilities support contemporary research in cell biology, genomics, organismal biology, and computational analyses. A world-class natural laboratory, the Konza Prairie Biological Station, is only minutes away from the KSU campus. The Division of Biology has approximately 65 full-time graduate students working toward Ph.D. and M.S. degrees. All graduate students accepted by the Division are guaranteed full financial support for the duration of their graduate degree (contingent on reasonable progress towards degree completion). Financial support is the same for students pursuing a Ph.D. or M.S. degree, as well as for foreign and domestic students.
