Career opportunities

Graduate study in biochemistry provides training for a number of varied academic and technological careers. Due to the breadth of the field of biochemistry, which directly involves or can impinge on an array of basic and applied problems, opportunities in biochemistry are expanding, and this expansion is expected to continue.
