About the Localist calendar

Localist, K-State's university event calendar system, allows departments and units to enter, share, and display events. Events can display on:

• full university calendar (automatically)
• websites using K-State's content management system
• digital display boards
• other university websites

Each department and unit can have a calendar that displays on its website. To have a calendar set up, send email to calendar@k-state.edu with your department/unit name and the list of eIDs that you would like to have access to add events. Web services will do the initial set up and and provide a test page on your website with your calendar displayed. The calendar system is easy to use and does not require any training.
