Attend the 2020 Design Expo Career Fair

Jan. 13, 2020 — Students are invited to attend the 2020 Design Expo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at the Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center in Manhattan.

This career fair will allow students to visit with firms looking for interns and full-time employees from the following academic programs: architecture, graphic design, interior architecture and product design, interior design, landscape architecture, and regional and community planning. Attendees should dress in business or design professional attire and bring their student ID in addition to multiple copies of their resume, teasers or portfolio (if applicable).

To help with preparation, resume critiques or mock interviews may be scheduled through the student’s Handshake account. The Career Closet is also open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday for free professional clothing, located at the Career Center in the Berney Family Welcome Center.

A free shuttle will be available for students, running every 20 minutes from Bosco Plaza. A detailed shuttle schedule, as well as information about fair preparation and testimonials from those who attended the event in past years, are available on the Career Center website.
