2020 Career Center Carry Out
Come meet the K-State Career Center Team at our first event of the year! The Career Center Carry Out will be hosted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the north entrance of the Berney Family Welcome Center.
Students will have the opportunity to learn how to work with a career advisor, activate their Handshake account, get info about upcoming fall events, pick up a free T-shirt and be entered to win a drawing for free textbooks! Career advisors provide free assistance with all stages of career development for students: career exploration, resume and cover letter writing, internship and job searches, mock interviews and more.
“I’m really excited to have students back in our space and show them how helpful and easy it is to take advantage of the services provided by the Career Center. We also have an awesome t-shirt design,” said Career Center Assistant Director Jaci Kolm. “We help students, — from freshman to graduate — make the most of the skills and knowledge they’re gaining here at K-State and guide them on their path to a great career.”
Students who are unable to attend the event in person can log into an online version on the Career Center Carry Out webpage on the day of the event. The Career Center is committed to hosting a safe, welcoming event to kick off fall!
