Upcoming Career Meet-Up: Media and Communications

Feb. 21, 2020 — Students interested in advertising, journalism and public relations are invited to attend the Media and Communications Career Meet-Up from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in the Berney Family Welcome Center.

Students from freshmen to seniors can benefit from this Career Meet-Up. Juniors and seniors should attend to seek internship and full-time opportunities within the journalism and strategic communications fields, while sophomores and freshmen are invited to conduct "information interviews" and learn more about opportunities in this kind of work, as well as how to be competitive for future internships and full-time positions.

Business casual dress is preferred for the event and attendees should bring multiple copies of their resume. Refreshments will also be provided.

The Media and Communications Career Meet-Up is hosted by the Career Center and the A.Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass Communications. A full list of employers attending the networking event and more information can be found on the Career Center website.
