Winner Announced for the 2021 Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year
Congrats to Jazstyn Moyer!
The K-State Career Center wishes to congratulate Jazstyn Moyer, Student Life Center front desk worker and intramural student coordinator for Student Life on the Polytechnic campus, on her selection as winner of the Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year Award. Moyer is the first K-State Polytechnic student employee to receive this award.
Moyer, four finalists and 30 nominees were honored Apr. 14 in a virtual ceremony. Supervisors and department heads from across K-State nominated these exceptional student workers, all of whom displayed reliability, initiative and professionalism in their positions - as well as a defining story that distinguished them from the competition.
Of the many students nominated, the five who were chosen as finalists are Moyer; Claire Herrman, student recruiting assistant for Personal Financial Planning; Dominique McGlynn, assistant advertising sales manager for the Collegian Media Group; Holly Mills, dining student employee for Housing and Dining Services; and Nick Beyer, student employee for the Plant Pathology department.
Congratulations to all of our 2021 nominees!
