Engineering Career Fair to be held Feb. 10
The Engineering Career Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 online via Handshake. The career fair will host over 95 engineering companies looking for interns, co-op and full-time employees.
Students will need to register for the fair and sign up for sessions to engage with employers. The Career Center advises students to search the list of employers attending in Handshake. All students interested in opportunities in any engineering field are invited to participate in the fair. Students will find the fair listed under the “Fairs” tab in their Handshake account.
Participating employers have the opportunity to schedule 10-minute one-on-one sessions and 30-minute group sessions with students. Students can find answers to the questions they may have about this online format in the career fair FAQs. Next-day interviews will still be facilitated by employers using the employer’s platform of choice. More information will be shared via the career fair student support page soon.
In addition to using Handshake to participate in career fairs and search for job opportunities, students are encouraged to activate their account for ease of appointment scheduling with career advisors. Advisors continue to extend services for job search assistance, resume and cover letter critiques, personal statement feedback and mock interviews.
