Students are invited to attend the Hospitality Career Meet-up

February 17, 2022 — The Career Center invites students to attend the Hospitality Career Meet-Up from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22. This event will take place both in-person at the Berney Family Welcome Center and virtually through the Remo platform. There is no registration needed and all majors are welcome. Students can find more details on the Remo platform and how to use it through the Career Meet-Up webpage.

This event will be a come-and-go, informal event held both in-person and virtually. Students are encouraged to browse the event details in Handshake to see which employers will be attending in-person, and which employers will be attending virtually. This is a networking event with intent to bring students and employers together easily to make connections in the food and beverage management, meeting and event management, and lodging management industries.

In-person, students can join industry representatives at small, high-top tables and learn about opportunities within their organization. On Remo, industry representatives will be around virtual tables and students will be able to approach tables of interest as they please. Clicking on a particular table will bring students to a conversation room with that industry representative. Any student who is wanting to learn more about part-time and full-time careers, as well as internships in the hospitality industry is encouraged to attend.
