The Career Center invites students to the Nonprofit Career Meet-Up
Oct. 5, 2022 — The K-State Career Center invites students to attend the Nonprofit Career Meet-Up from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022. This event will take place at the Berney Family Welcome Center. Any student interested in connecting with nonprofit organizations is encouraged to attend.
This event will be a come-and-go, informal event held in-person. It is perfect for casual networking and is a great way for students to connect with nonprofit organizations. Students can drop by to talk with representatives at small, high-top tables. There is no registration needed for students and all majors are welcome. Students are encouraged to browse the event details in Handshake to see which organizations will be attending.
“The Nonprofit Career Meetup is great for any major. When you think about the opportunities for internships and first destination employment, the skill sets gained can be matchless. Educational Studies, Social Sciences, Leadership and Liberal Arts students and more find new and established employers at this event. Stop by to meet and be greeted by niche employers,” said Pat Hudgins, Associate Director of the Career Center and liaison to the College of Education and Pre-Health Students.
