Attend the Design Expo Today to Connect with Employers

Feb. 26, 2024 - The Career Center invites students to attend the 2024 Design Expo. Open to students from all disciplines, this interactive event is a great networking opportunity. Join us on Monday, Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn and Convention Center Ballroom. Shuttles will be provided all day for students to transport from campus to the Hilton Garden Inn. Shuttles will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. every 20 minutes near the student union courtyard on N. Martin Luther King Jr Drive.

Upon arrival, students will be greeted at the registration table, where they’ll kickstart their journey towards professional success. We encourage students to view the event details available on Handshake to familiarize themselves with participating companies beforehand. "We are very excited about this year's Design Expo and being able to welcome over 120 employers in Architecture, Planning, and Design industries to K-State,” said Paulicia Bender, the assistant director and liaison to the College of Architecture, Planning and Design.

Students will engage directly with top firms to explore internships and full-time positions. We encourage students to dress in business or design professional attire, bring multiple copies of their resume and bring their portfolio if applicable. Need a wardrobe upgrade?
