New Roles with the Career Center Team

June 12, 2024 – The K-State Career Center is pleased to announce responsibility changes within the department. Liz Parkes has been appointed as Coordinator of Career Exploration and Marketing.

In this role, Parkes will oversee advising and programming for students in the major and career exploration process, supporting career readiness for all students. She will also manage strategic marketing efforts to promote awareness of the Career Center in the university community.

Parkes previously served as the Employer Relations Associate for the K-State Career Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications and is pursuing a master’s degree in adult learning and leadership, both from K-State.
